If you are eligible for the First Home Grant you will receive $10,000.00 (or $20,000.00 for an eligible couple) when purchasing a newly built home. Restrictions on loan-to-value ratios don’t apply to new builds, meaning the bank requires a smaller deposit from you than they would for an existing home.
